My life recently

It has been a crazy few months. (I feel like that is how I always start out posts here.) Teague's birthday has come and gone, we have gone on vacation (for entirely too long, if that is possible), Teague has been sick for almost a month, and David and I came down with a virus too!

Teague's party was amazing with wonderful friends and family that came to our house to help celebrate. We themed the party Eric Carle's "Very Hungry Caterpillar." It is my hope to have a book themed party each year, we will see how long I get my wish.


We tried to keep it simple with cupcakes and fruits that were found in the book.

At the end of August we traveled to both mine and David's parents in Illinois. My parents didn't get to come down for Teague's party in July, so we recreated it for them.

While at David's parents the weather was beautiful, so we took a day trip to Lake Michigan. This was Teague's first time at a beach. He had so much fun.
